1. Booking and Payment
Booking Process: All skip hire reservations must be made through our official booking system. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment or a valid credit card guarantee.
Payment Terms: Payments are due at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including debit and credit cards, and bank transfers. Any outstanding payments must be settled before the skip is delivered.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or modify your booking, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
2. Delivery and Collection
Delivery: We will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed date and time. Please ensure that there is adequate space for placement and access for our delivery personnel.
Collection: After the hire period, our team will collect the skip. If the skip is not ready for pickup, additional charges may apply.

3. Skip Usage
Permitted Use: Our skips are intended for the disposal of general waste, including household and construction debris. Use of skips for hazardous or prohibited materials is strictly forbidden.
Prohibited Items: The following items are not allowed in our skips:
- Chemicals, solvents, and paints
- Electrical appliances containing Freon
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Medical waste
- Vehicle parts and batteries
Improper disposal of prohibited items may result in additional charges and legal action.
Weight Limits
Each skip comes with a specified weight limit. Exceeding this limit may incur extra fees. Please ensure that the weight of the waste does not surpass the maximum allowed.
4. Safety and Liability
Safety Measures: It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the skip is placed in a safe location. Avoid placing skips near power lines, on unstable ground, or in areas prone to flooding.
Liability: Richmond Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property or injury resulting from the placement or use of the skip.
Insurance
Users are advised to have appropriate insurance coverage for the placement and usage of skips. Richmond Skip Hire does not provide insurance for third-party claims or damages.
5. Termination of Hire
We reserve the right to terminate the hire agreement if the terms and conditions are violated. Unauthorized use, overloading, or illegal disposal of waste may lead to immediate termination and additional charges.
Early Termination
If you wish to terminate the hire early, please contact us. Refunds may be provided based on the unused period, minus any applicable fees.

Any disputes arising from the use of our services should be addressed with us directly. We aim to resolve issues amicably, but if necessary, disputes may be escalated to relevant authorities.
